It appears that according to CNBC, the Fed is having some sort of discussion regarding market conditions at 9:30 this morning. As much as some folks would like them to cut rates in an attempt to stabilize the market, I don’t see that happening. I think they’ll release a statement regarding current market conditions and how they’ll keep a close eye on things. I wouldn’t expect much more than that. It’s times like these I wish there was a working TV in the office.
DJIA futures appear to be up this morning. I’ll have more in a portfolio progress update later today.
