It’s the end of the summer and apparently this is usually the best time to update blog designs and stuff. So here ya go! I tend to like this one a bit better than the old one. Looks a bit cleaner and much easier to maintain. Anywho, I do apologize for not being around much but there’s just too much **** going on at the moment. If it doesn’t involve my PhD, it’s essentially gone to the back burner. I’ll try and squeeze in a post or two by the end of the weekend, I swear!

God I hate flying.  Waiting to board for the first leg of my trip to Pittsburgh.  Have I mentioned how much I hate, hate, hate flying?  Sigh…

Sam Israel is reported to have been arrested early today.  Right now I’m trying to find out more details but it appears the news is very fresh off the wires.  For those that don’t know, Sam Israel is an ex-fund manager whom defrauded quite a few investors.  On his way to jail, he faked his own death in an attempt to skirt jail time.  Police weren’t fooled and have been looking for him since.  More info as it arrives.
